The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera(UMSU), with the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI), are holding a Bilateral Webinar for two days, on 20 and 21 September 2022.<\/p>\n

The webinar was opened by the Rector of UMSU who was represented by Deputy Rector I, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arifin, S.H., M.Hum (UMSU Deputy Rector I), and the Director of MARDI, who was represented by Dr. Asfaliza Binti Ramli (Deputy Chairperson of the MARDI Steering Committee. This webinar activity presented four resource persons from MARDI and UMSU on the first day and five people on the second day.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The topics discussed in the event sessions were (1) Abiotic Pressure on Rice, (2) Main Damagers and Diseases of Rice, (3) Smart System for Exporting Rice, and (4) the Socio-Economy of Rice. Participants who took part in this activity were approximately 400 participants from Indonesia and Malaysia.<\/p>\n

It was recorded that almost all Indonesian participants were present from every province from Aceh to Papua, from institutions of higher education, government agencies, farmers, and the private sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
