Leaders of the Commissariat of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM), Faculty of Islam Religion, UMSU, held a Ramadhan Da’wah Package (Paket Dakwah Ramadhan) for 1444 H \/ 2023 M in Ndeskati Village, Naman Teran District, Karo Regency.<\/p>\n
This event was held from 29 March \u2013 2 April 2023, filled with Islamic boarding schools and various social service activities. PDR was carried out by 55 members from PK IMM FAI UMSU.<\/p>\n
The chairman of the UMSU FAI PDR committee, Yuspan Jailani, explained this year’s annual PK IMM FAI program packs several program activities such as making a lightning boarding school for children who go to school, teaching reading the Koran, cooperation, competitions for children.<\/p>\n
In addition, compensation in the form of providing groceries to people in need and finally closing with the Tabligh Akbar delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Religion, who is also an element of PWM North Sumatra, Dr. Muhammad Qorib.MA.<\/p>\n
At the closing ceremony of the PDR, the leadership of the Faculty of Islam Religion, the Dean, Dr. Muhammad Qorib, MA, Deputy Dean I, Dr. Zailani. MA and Deputy Dean III Dr. Munawir Pasaribu, M.A. Ndeskati Village Officials, Thomas Ginting and several community leaders from the Naman Teran sub-district attended the closing.<\/p>\n
At the closing ceremony, the Ndeskati Village Officials thanked the IMM children who had come to their village. They hoped that this would not only be the first and last meeting, but the community still hoped for the arrival of the IMM children after implementing this PDR.<\/p>\n
Deputy Dean III FAI Dr. Munawir Pasaribu expressed his gratitude to the Ndeskati village apparatus and the people in Ndeskati Village who had accepted the children of IMM FAI UMSU to carry out PDR in this village. “The reception was full of kinship. Hopefully, other activities can be carried out later in this village,” said Munawir.<\/p>\n
While Muhammad Qorib in his lecture conveyed the need for togetherness and also the spirit of Ramadan must be carried out properly.<\/p>\n
It was emphasized that students’ role in mingling with society should be an added value. This is a life laboratory so that students can apply their knowledge gained from campus and practice in the community, said the Dean of the UMSU Faculty of Islamic Religion.<\/p>\n
