Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) has again added two professors, namely UMSU Postgraduate Master of Management (MM) lecturers, Dr. Fajar Pasaribu, S.E., M.Si and Dr. Jufrizen, S.E., M.Si who officially received a Decree (SK) for professors in the field of Management Science, on Tuesday (23\/1) at the Growth Center Office of LLDIKTI Region I, Jl. Pratun No. 1 Kenangan Baru Kec. Percut Sei Tuan Kab. Deli Serdang.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Decree was handed over directly by the Head of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region 1, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, MA Ph.D. to UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, who was represented by WR I, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arifin, M.Hum. Then then handed over Prof. Dr. Fajar Pasaribu S.E, M.Si and Prof. Dr. Jufrizen S.E., M.Si.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Head of LLDikti Region 1, Prof. Saiful said that there are three types and paths to the position \/ title of professor in Indonesia, namely academic, functional researcher and honorary paths.<\/p>\n

He said that honorary professors are given by universities as an award to everyone from non-academic circles who have extraordinary competence.<\/p>\n

“Not all universities are entitled and authorized to give honorary professors, only universities with accreditation ratings of A or Superior, and hold doctoral programs that are in accordance with the field of expertise of honorary professor candidates,” said Prof. Saiful.\"\"<\/p>\n

Furthermore, WR I UMSU, Prof. Arifin said that the receipt of this decree increased the number of professors and was an extraordinary achievement for UMSU. He reminded that this achievement could motivate other lecturers to be serious and eager to strive for the title of Professor.<\/p>\n

“My message is that achieving the title of Professor does not mean stopping. In fact, the responsibility is even more significant because it continues to work and contribute even though you have won the title of Professor, “said WR I UMSU.<\/p>\n

Then, UMSU Postgraduate Director, Prof. Dr. Triono Eddy S.H., M.Hum who was also present expressed his gratitude.<\/p>\n

“Alhamdulillah. Our lecturers at UMSU Postgraduate, Mr. Fajar Pasaribu and Mr. Jufrizen received a gift from Allah Swt, namely achieving the title of Professor,” said Prof. Triono. He hopes that the increase in professors can improve the image and quality of higher education.<\/p>\n

Previously, UMSU received a Professor Decree in the field of Accounting Science, namely Dr. Widia Astuty, S.E., M.Si., QIA and inaugurated 4 female professors on Saturday (23\/12\/2023).<\/p>\n
