Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) received permission to open a Doctoral Program (S3) in Management from the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).<\/p>\n
This was marked by the submission of the Decree (SK) of the Director General of Higher Education Number 495 \/ E \/ O \/ 2024 which was submitted by the Head of the North Sumatra LLDIKTI, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., PhD to the Rector of UMSU Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP on Monday (12\/8) at the LLDIKTI Region 1 Office Jl. Sempurna No. 8, Tj. Sari, Kec. Medan Selayang, Medan City.<\/p>\n
This S3 Management program increases the number of doctoral programs at UMSU. Now there are three doctoral study programs, namely Law, Education Science, and Management.<\/p>\n
Head of LLDikti North Sumatra Prof. Drs. Saiful said this was a matter of pride for UMSU because the increase in the Doctoral program was an impact on the number of professors born by UMSU in 2023. The existence of this doctoral program can also certainly be a solution for those who want to continue their studies.<\/p>\n
“The opening of this program is expected to help the Medan City community in completing S3 education, especially for certified lecturers. For certified lecturers who want to continue their S3 in management, there is already a solution at UMSU, “said the Head of LLDikti North Sumatra.<\/p>\n
In addition, he also encouraged UMSU to complete superior accreditation and enter the ranks of the World Class University, “I have seen UMSU enter the QS Star and I am sure the QS will increase further in the World Class University,” hoped Prof. Saiful.<\/p>\n
Previously, UMSU Rector, Prof. Agussani, expressed his deep gratitude for the trust of the Community so that UMSU could open a Doctor of Management program. He also appreciated the professional performance of LLDIKTI in providing assistance and guidance in the process of managing the opening of the UMSU doctoral program.<\/p>\n
“Thank you for the extraordinary guidance and assistance of the Head of LLDikti North Sumatra so far. We hope that these opportunities will continue to be improved in the future. God willing, UMSU will add another doctoral program,” said Prof. Agussani.<\/p>\n
In the future, UMSU will open doctoral programs in other fields such as Medicine and Public Administration. Prof. Agussani hopes that the Doctoral Program in Management can improve the quality of education in North Sumatra.<\/p>\n
“This is part of what we have designed and we have started to enter the international ranking to the ranks of World Class University. Alhamdulillah, the team continues to work on this,” he said.<\/p>\n
He emphasized, apart from QS Stars, UMSU also received recognition from a number of international ranking agencies including AppliedHE which ranked UMSU as the 21st best private university in ASEAN and THE Impact Ranking which ranked UMSU in the world’s 1500th rank and as the 4th best Islamic University in the world according to UniRank.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
