UMSU Rector, Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP represented by Vice Rector III, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Rudianto, M.Si released six students from the Faculty of Engineering to participate in the International Innovation Week and Summer Program 2024 at Tun Hussein Onn University, Malaysia (UTHM).<\/p>\n

The release was held on Saturday (16\/11) at the UMSU Meeting Room on Muchtar Basri Street No.3 Medan. The six students will carry out the programme from 19-20 November 2024.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, UMSU Vice Rector III, Assoc. Prof. Rudianto expressed his pride in the enthusiasm of UMSU students involved in international programmes, \u2018We are very touched to hear that most of you are the first time going abroad, some are even the first time on a plane. This is an extraordinary experience that will surely give many surprises and valuable lessons,\u2019 he said.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

He said that this programme is not just for competition, but more importantly, to build confidence and soft skills to interact with friends from abroad.<\/p>\n

\u2018In this global era, we cannot just survive in our own place, we must be able to understand and follow technological developments in the international world,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

Apart from participating in International Innovation Week 2024, UMSU students will also take part in the Summer Programme 2024 held at Tun Hussein Onn University Malaysia (UTHM).<\/p>\n

Vice Dean 1 of Engineering, Dr Ade Faisal, ST, M.Sc, Ph.D. is also proud and fully supports students who will take part in competitions and study programmes in Malaysia.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u2018This opportunity is extraordinary, hopefully this will be a spirit for others so that this programme and other international programmes can continue to grow and run continuously,\u2019 he hoped.<\/p>\n

Then, the accompanying lecturer, Josef Hadipramana, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D explained that this Summer Programme was designed to provide an intensive learning experience in an international academic environment.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2018During this programme, UMSU students will explore the latest materials in engineering, interact with students and lecturers from various countries, and gain deeper insights into technological developments at the global level,\u2019 said Dr. Josef.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Zakira Kamila, a student representative of the Faculty of Engineering, said that they participated in one branch of the competition, namely towers.<\/p>\n

\u2018So we have prepared a prototype tower that we designed with hexagonal design innovation with prior research so that we ensure the project we make is really the best,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n

He hopes to give the best results in this competition and be able to inspire many people.<\/p>\n
