This event took place in a hybrid manner at Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS), Malaysia, on Friday &#8211; Saturday (31 January-1 February).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-02-03-at-12.05.59-PM-1.jpeg?resize=1024%2C768&amp;ssl=1\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The INSIS FAI UMSU 2025 activity was attended by 470 participants from within and outside the country, of which 118 participants attended directly at UIS Malaysia and 352 others participated online.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The international participants came from leading institutions such as Umaru Musa Yar&#8217;adua University, Katsina, Nigeria; Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia; Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia; and Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While participants from Indonesia came from various institutions such as Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Padjadjaran University (UNPAD), Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), UIN Jakarta, Medan State University (Unimed), UMSU, as well as several Islamic universities such as IAIN Gorontalo, UIN North Sumatra, and Darussalam Gontor University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dean of FAI UMSU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qorib, MA in his speech, emphasised the importance of this activity as a strategic step to build international networks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2018INSIS is not just a conference, but also a real form of cross-cultural and academic collaboration to answer global challenges,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said INSIS 2025 is proof that academic collaboration can be an effective means to build global understanding, improve research quality, and create a positive impact on society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-02-03-at-12.05.59-PM.jpeg?resize=1024%2C576&amp;ssl=1\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The FAI Dean hoped that this activity could inspire other educational institutions in promoting scientific values at the international level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year&#8217;s INSIS adopted a hybrid format to reach more participants, namely the Online Conference: Held on Friday, 31 January 2025, this session featured three international speakers from the Philippines, Cambodia and Thailand. A total of 352 presenters presented their papers in parallel through virtual breakout rooms.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Then the Physical Conference was held on Saturday, 1 February 2025, at Universiti Islam Selangor, this session involved 118 participants. They presented their papers in parallel in 11 rooms. Each room presented a Best Presenter award to motivate participants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to the conference, INSIS 2025 also became a venue for strengthening cooperation between FAI UMSU, LP2M UMSU, and UIS lecturers through academic colloquium activities and community service programmes.
