The ceremony took place at the UMSU Auditorium on Jalan Muchtar Basri No. 3, Medan, on Saturday (5\/7).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At this moment, UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, expressed pride in the graduation of 216 Law Faculty students. He stated that this is evidence of the educational process proceeding smoothly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cUMSU consistently encourages faculties, including the Law Faculty, to produce graduates who are not only academically intelligent but also excel in morality and integrity. We want them to become agents of change in Indonesia\u2019s legal and justice system,\u201d he said.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-07-05-at-1.35.18-PM-1.jpeg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He delivered a motivational message to the graduates who had been conferred their degrees: \u201cNever stop learning. The professional world demands that you continue to grow. Be trustworthy, professional legal graduates who always uphold the good name of your alma mater wherever you may be,\u201d said Prof. Agussani.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-07-05-at-1.35.17-PM-1-1.jpeg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1\" \/>Earlier, Dean of Fahum Dr. Faisal, SH., M.Hum, represented by Deputy Dean I Dr. Zainudin, S.H., M.H, delivered a message urging graduates to become law graduates of integrity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIntegrity, morality, and soft skills must be cultivated. Knowledge is not just for knowing; it must be implemented in daily life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The First Deputy Dean of Fahum also urged graduates to always respect and love their parents, who have made them law graduates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI always say that without parents, even a president wouldn\u2019t be possible. Allah\u2019s pleasure depends on the pleasure of one\u2019s parents. Knowledge will not be blessed if it is not accompanied by proper conduct,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-07-05-at-1.35.16-PM-1.jpeg?resize=1024%2C682&amp;ssl=1\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, through a video testimonial, the Chairman of the Advocacy Commission of the Indonesian National Commission on Human Rights (BPKN RI) and alumnus of the Faculty of Law at UMSU, Fitra Bukhori, stated, \u201cInsha\u2019Allah, the law graduates from the Faculty of Law at UMSU will become intelligent, outstanding, trustworthy law graduates and pioneers in upholding the law in Indonesia for the sake of truth and justice,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-07-05-at-1.35.15-PM.jpeg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1\" \/>One of the most touching moments of the event was the message from the representatives of the top graduates, Henri Devano and Laura Amandasari. In her speech, Laura, who comes from a Protestant Christian background, expressed her pride in being part of UMSU.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAt first, I was hesitant because of the differences, but I found a second home at UMSU. This campus does not just use tolerance as a slogan, but as a real practice,\u201d Laura said, greeted with applause.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Henri Devano also shared his inspiring journey as a student from Langkat Regency, \u201cLeaving for university at 5 a.m. and returning at night, to become the first graduate in my family. At UMSU, I was nurtured, appreciated, and given the opportunity to grow,\u201d he said with great emotion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event concluded with a musical performance of poetry by the UMSU Arts and Culture Club, followed by a group photo session with campus leaders, faculty members, and graduate representatives.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-07-05-at-1.35.13-PM-2.jpeg?resize=1024%2C682&amp;ssl=1\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UMSU Law Faculty successfully graduated 216 students in the first semester of 2025.
