The event took place at the auditorium on Jalan Muchtar Basri No. 3, Medan, on Tuesday (4\/11).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"424\" data-end=\"688\">Based on the Dean\u2019s Decree read by the Vice Dean III of FAI UMSU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Munawir Pasaribu, MA, the graduates consisted of 87 from Islamic Education, 3 from Early Childhood Islamic Education, 39 from Sharia Business Management, and 38 from Sharia Banking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"918\">On this occasion, UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, represented by Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arifin, M.Hum, delivered guidance emphasizing the importance of lifelong learning and academic integrity in the digital era.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"1119\">\u201cWe are now living with a digital mindset. Every aspect of life is connected to technology. Use technology not as a distraction, but as a tool to expand da\u2019wah and service to the community,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1214\">Prof. Arifin also stressed the importance of character and sincerity in practicing knowledge.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-11-04-at-5.05.16-PM-1-300x200.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1216\" data-end=\"1402\">\u201cIntelligence without morality leads only to destruction. But knowledge paired with good character brings benefit. This is what the founders of Muhammadiyah always emphasized,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1404\" data-end=\"1564\">Meanwhile, the Secretary of Kopertais Region IX North Sumatra, Dr. Syawaluddin Nasution, M.Ag, expressed high appreciation for FAI UMSU\u2019s academic achievements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1721\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-11-04-at-5.05.13-PM-1-300x200.jpeg\" \/>\u201cAlmost all programs in FAI have achieved \u2018Excellent\u2019 accreditation. This is the result of extraordinary teamwork \u2014 a super team, not a superman,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1723\" data-end=\"1848\">Previously, the Dean of FAI UMSU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zailani, MA, reaffirmed the faculty\u2019s commitment to continuous innovation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"2064\">\u201cThe Faculty of Islamic Studies will continue to grow and thrive. We are currently developing a student boarding program to nurture graduates who excel academically and possess strong social engagement,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2066\" data-end=\"2364\">The event also welcomed the Dean of FAI for the 2021\u20132025 period, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qorib, MA, who shared an inspiring message: \u201cNever stop reading. Great people of the world are those who never part from books. Discipline, character, and maintaining relationships are the keys to success.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2366\" data-end=\"2430\">Four students were recognized as the faculty\u2019s best graduates:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2431\" data-end=\"2683\">\n<li data-start=\"2431\" data-end=\"2499\">\n<p data-start=\"2433\" data-end=\"2499\">Hamidah Nurul Badri Girsang, S.Pd. (Islamic Education), GPA 3.86<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2500\" data-end=\"2571\">\n<p data-start=\"2502\" data-end=\"2571\">Indria Pratiwi, S.Pd. (Early Childhood Islamic Education), GPA 3.88<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2572\" data-end=\"2627\">\n<p data-start=\"2574\" data-end=\"2627\">Ningsi, S.E. (Sharia Business Management), GPA 3.90<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2628\" data-end=\"2683\">\n<p data-start=\"2630\" data-end=\"2683\">Rabiyatul Adawiyah, S.E. (Sharia Banking), GPA 3.95<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-11-04-at-5.05.18-PM-2.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2685\" data-end=\"3009\">The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Academic Division of Ma\u2019had Abu Ubaidah, Ustadz Munawir Sakali, Lc., MA, program heads, faculty members, and all FAI graduates.
