{"id":17218,"date":"2025-10-29T21:10:41","date_gmt":"2025-10-29T14:10:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umsu.ac.id\/en\/?p=17218"},"modified":"2025-11-17T21:12:36","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T14:12:36","slug":"umsu-strengthens-collaboration-through-international-academic-forum-in-tashkent-uzbekistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umsu.ac.id\/en\/umsu-strengthens-collaboration-through-international-academic-forum-in-tashkent-uzbekistan\/","title":{"rendered":"UMSU Strengthens Collaboration Through International Academic Forum in Tashkent, Uzbekistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"186\" data-end=\"383\">Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) participated in the <strong data-start=\"253\" data-end=\"308\">1st Annual Meeting on Global Academic Collaboration<\/strong>, held at Tashkent University, Uzbekistan, on Tuesday\u2013Wednesday (28\u201329\/10).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"596\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/umsu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/IMG_8246-300x225.jpg\" \/>This international event was initiated by Kyungdong University (KDU), South Korea, in collaboration with Tashkent University, and attended by representatives from more than <strong data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"595\">50 partner universities worldwide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"1002\">UMSU was represented by the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), <strong data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"727\">Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Fitra Zambak<\/strong>, and the Head of OIC, <strong data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"780\">Rafieqah Nalar Rizky, M.A.<\/strong> They joined the delegation of the Muhammadiyah Council for Higher Education, Research, and Development (Majelis Diktilitbang PP Muhammadiyah) along with representatives from five other Muhammadiyah\u2013\u2018Aisyiyah universities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1428\">The meeting served as a strategic platform to strengthen academic partnerships and explore new collaboration opportunities within Kyungdong University\u2019s global network. Throughout the sessions, participants discussed a range of initiatives, including joint research plans, faculty and student exchange programs, and the development of international academic programs aimed at enhancing global engagement in higher education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1430\" data-end=\"1757\">UMSU\u2019s participation in this inaugural annual meeting reaffirms the university\u2019s commitment to expanding international academic cooperation and building partnerships that foster innovation and shared growth.
