The Regional Leadership of Muhammadiyah (PDM) of Medan City organized a Syawal 1447 Hijri gathering, which also included the send-off ceremony for Hajj pilgrims from KBIHU Muhammadiyah Medan. The event took place on Sunday (April 12) at SMK Muhammadiyah 09 Medan, Jalan Flamboyan Raya Gg. KH. Ahmad Dahlan No. 22.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by the Secretary of the Central Executive Board (PP) of Muhammadiyah, Muhammad Izzul Muslimin, S.IP; the Mayor of Medan, Rico Tri Putra Bayu Waas, represented by the Assistant for Government and Social Welfare of the Medan City Secretariat, Muhammad Sofyan, S.Sos., M.A; Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Regional Board (PWM) of North Sumatra, Prof. Dr. Hasyimsyah Nasution, M.A; PWM Treasurer Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qorib, M.A; UMSU Vice Rector II Prof. Akrim, M.Pd; Chairman of the UMSU Advisory Board (BPH) Dr. Bahril Datuk, M.M; Chairman of PDM Medan Maulana Siregar, M.A; Medan Tuntungan Subdistrict Head Berani Perangin-Angin; and Medan Tuntungan Police Chief Iptu Syawal Sitepu.<\/p>\n

In his short sermon (tausiyah<\/em>), PP Muhammadiyah Secretary Muhammad Izzul emphasized that Allah promises a vast paradise for those who are generous and perform good deeds.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Syawal momentum should serve as a starting point to enhance social awareness and strengthen Islamic brotherhood,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He also expressed appreciation for the organization of the gathering as a reflection of unity within Muhammadiyah.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Muhammad Sofyan, Assistant for Government and Social Welfare of the Medan City Secretariat, conveyed the local government\u2019s support for religious and social initiatives carried out by Muhammadiyah.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis activity is a tangible example of Muhammadiyah\u2019s contribution to building a religious and empowered society. The Medan City Government highly appreciates the ongoing synergy,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the Secretary of PP Muhammadiyah officially sent off the Hajj pilgrims of KBIHU Muhammadiyah Medan. The ceremony was filled with emotion and prayers, with hopes that the pilgrims will perform their pilgrimage smoothly and return as\u00a0mabrur<\/em>\u00a0(accepted) Hajj.<\/p>\n

The event also included the inauguration of new classrooms at SMK Muhammadiyah 09 Medan as part of efforts to improve educational facilities. This inauguration symbolized Muhammadiyah\u2019s commitment to advancing education.<\/p>\n

In addition, the event featured a\u00a0Gerakan Amal Sholeh<\/em>\u00a0(Charity Movement), which successfully raised Rp48 million. The funds will be used to build a prayer room (mushola<\/em>) within the school \u092a\u0930\u093f\u0938\u0930 to support worship activities for students and staff.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
