Cegukan dapat terjadi selama beberapa detik hingga lebih dari 48 jam dan umumnya tidak berbahaya.<\/p>\n<p>Namun, jika cegukan berlangsung lama, bisa menjadi gejala dari penyakit yang lebih serius. Cegukan yang berlangsung lebih dari dua hari perlu dicari tahu penyebabnya. Beberapa kondisi yang dapat menjadi pemicu cegukan terus-menerus meliputi:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h4>Iritasi pada Gendang Telinga Akibat Benda Asing<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Radang Tenggorokan<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Pembesaran Kelenjar Tiroid<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Tumor atau Kista pada Tenggorokan<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Kehamilan<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Hernia Hiatus<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Gangguan Elektrolit<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>Naiknya Asam Lambung ke Kerongkongan (GERD)<br \/>\nPenyakit kronis seperti diabetes, penyakit Parkinson, gagal ginjal, kanker, atau efek samping kemoterapi juga dapat memicu cegukan terus-menerus.Selain itu, gangguan sistem saraf pusat dan tindakan medis tertentu seperti penggunaan kateter pada otot jantung atau prosedur bronkoskopi pada paru-paru dapat menyebabkan cegukan yang tak terkendali.Gaya hidup tidak sehat seperti konsumsi minuman beralkohol berlebihan dan merokok juga dapat memicu cegukan terus-menerus.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Cara Menghilangkan Cegukan Terus-Menerus<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h4>Menahan Napas<\/h4>\n<p>Tarik napas dalam-dalam dan tahan selama 10 detik. Ulangi proses ini beberapa kali. Teknik ini dapat meningkatkan kadar karbon dioksida dalam darah, yang dapat menghentikan refleks cegukan.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Bernapas Menggunakan Kantong Kertas<\/h4>\n<p>Tempatkan kantong kertas di depan mulut dan hidung, lalu bernapas perlahan sehingga kantong kertas mengempis dan mengembang.
