Selain berfungsi sebagai pusat metabolisme, hati juga bertanggung jawab mengolah dan mengeluarkan zat sisa yang berbahaya bagi tubuh. Zat sisa ini meliputi urea, pigmen seperti bilirubin, empedu, dan racun yang dihasilkan dari proses detoksifikasi.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, hati juga membantu menjaga keseimbangan kimia dalam darah dan mendukung fungsi organ lain seperti ginjal dan usus. Oleh karena itu, memahami zat sisa yang dihasilkan hati sangat penting untuk menjaga kesehatan tubuh secara keseluruhan.<\/p>\n<h3>Fungsi Hati sebagai Organ Ekskresi<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h4>Menghasilkan Urea sebagai Zat Sisa Perombakan Protein<\/h4>\n<p>Hati mengubah amonia, hasil samping perombakan protein yang sangat beracun, menjadi urea yang lebih aman. Urea ini kemudian diangkut ke ginjal untuk dikeluarkan bersama urine. Proses ini sangat penting agar racun tidak menumpuk dalam tubuh.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Memproduksi Empedu untuk Membantu Pencernaan dan Ekskresi<\/h4>\n<p>Empedu adalah cairan berwarna hijau kebiruan yang diproduksi oleh hati sekitar 0,5 liter per hari. Cairan ini mengandung garam empedu dan pigmen seperti bilirubin. Empedu membantu mencerna lemak dan mengubah zat yang tidak larut dalam air menjadi larut air sehingga dapat dikeluarkan.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Mengolah Bilirubin dari Sel Darah Merah yang Rusak<\/h4>\n<p>Sel darah merah yang sudah tua dipecah di hati menjadi zat besi, globin, dan hemin. Hemin kemudian diubah menjadi biliverdin dan bilirubin. Bilirubin ini bersifat racun sehingga harus diekskresikan melalui empedu dan akhirnya keluar bersama feses dan urine.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Detoksifikasi Racun dalam Tubuh<\/h4>\n<p>Hati bertugas menyaring racun dan zat berbahaya dari darah. Racun ini diolah dan dikeluarkan melalui empedu atau diubah menjadi zat yang tidak berbahaya. Proses ini menjaga tubuh dari keracunan dan infeksi.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Proses Ekskresi Zat Sisa Hati dalam Tubuh<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h4>Dari Hati ke Ginjal dan Usus<\/h4>\n<p>Setelah urea dan racun diolah di hati, urea akan dibawa ke ginjal untuk disaring dan dikeluarkan lewat urine. Sementara pigmen bilirubin yang larut dalam empedu akan masuk ke usus dan dikeluarkan bersama feses.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Peran Empedu dalam Sistem Ekskresi<\/h4>\n<p>Empedu tidak hanya membantu pencernaan, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai media pengeluaran zat sisa beracun.
