Also, congratulations to the graduates and parents,” he said while attending the graduation ceremony on the second day of period II 2022 UMSU, Tuesday (13/12). As a result, 787 graduates out of 2,357 attended the second day of the UMSU graduation.
Next, Prof. Mu’ti invited the graduates to be satisfied as scientists, intellectuals, and scholars and become intellectuals and graduates.
He quoted Dr. Shari’ati’s thoughts in his book The Duty of Muslim Scholars that the intellectual level is a human being who has explicit knowledge, ideology, and principles and tries to make changes in society with his knowledge and knowledge and has integrity and excellence.
“Human scholars are indispensable in this age.”
According to Prof. Mu’ti, working anywhere is good because the work is noble as long as it is carried out sincerely and is part of worship.
Prof. Mu’ti said that in the current technological era, graduates need to apply a growth mindset philosophy of thinking, not a fixed mindset, to be more optimistic and thrive in the future. Quoting Carol S. Dweck’s theory in her book Growth Mindset, whatever our IP and whatever is achieved with that IP, everything is still helpful for our future. This means that the current situation is capital for the future.
“Therefore, let us think in a Growth Mindset and do not think in a Fix Mindset,” he said.
