Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara booth received an enthusiastic welcome from high school students who came to the North Sumatran higher education exhibition arena, which was held on the 1st floor of Ringroad Citywalks Mall Medan, Tuesday-Thursday (21-23/2).
This exhibition was organized by the North Sumatra Provincial Education Office and LLDIKTI Region 1 North Sumatra. The Head of North Sumatra LLDikti opened the exhibition directly, represented by the Head of the General Section, Dra. Faizah.
Followed by 20 universities and visited by thousands of SMA/SMK students throughout North Sumatra. The goal is to add insight and enthusiasm for SMA/SMK students to continue their education in tertiary institutions.
The UMSU stand provides sophisticated equipment such as the Astronomy Observatory telescope. Successfully attracted more than 1000 high school / vocational students to visit the stand and get to know UMSU more closely.
One of them is Sella Mariska from SMK Negeri 3 Medan with her friend Dita Aulia, “It’s nice to be able to gain knowledge about star maps and try telescopes and know more about the faculties at UMSU,” said Sella.
At the exhibition’s opening, Muhammad Arifin Lubis, S.E, S.y, as a promotional unit for UMSU, had the opportunity to become a guest speaker at a college talk show. Arifin introduced UMSU as a university that has superior accreditation. So it deserves to be the choice of students who will continue their studies.
