About 10,000 residents took part in the 48th Muktamar Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah celebration walks, held at the UMSU Campus, Jalan Mukhtar Basri Medan, Sunday (6/11).
The hiking participants were released by the Chairman of the PW Muhammadiyah of North Sumatra, Prof. Dr. Hasyimsyah Nasution MA, Chancellor of UMSU Prof. Dr. Agussani, Deputy Chairperson of the North Sumatra DPRD Rahmansyah Sibarani SH and Chairperson of the UMSU BPH Dr. Bahril Datuk.
The casual walking activity became the culmination of broadcasting the conference, which Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah North Sumatra carried out. The lively congress activities have been going on since three months ago. In addition, the committee provided hundreds of exciting door prizes on the casual walk, including umrah, motorbikes, electric scooters, and laptops.
Hundreds of exciting prizes were greeted enthusiastically by the community since morning, and thousands of residents flocked to the UMSU campus in waves.
UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, in his remarks, said that the success of the hiking activities could not be separated from the coordination and hard work of all the teams that organized the activities. Agussani admits that he is grateful for the public’s trust in Muhammadiyah and UMSU, which continues to increase.
Chairman of the North Sumatra Muhammadiyah Regional Board, Prof. Dr. Hasyimsyah Nasution MA, felt grateful for the success of the hiking activity, which provided many prizes, ranging from three umrah packages, motorbikes, and refrigerators to laptops. Hasyimsyah said that it was hoped that the various lively congress activities would become part of Muhammadiyah’s da’wah.
On that occasion, Deputy Chairperson of the DPRD of North Sumatra Rahmansyah Sibarani SH, also treasurer of the Tapak Suci Region of North Sumatra, said he was ready to provide support and support to Muhammadiyah. “I am proud to be present among ten community members in the context of the Muktamar lively,” said Rahmansyah Sibarani.
On Semarak Muktamar Leisure Street, three Umrah packages were donated by Deputy DPRD North Sumatra Rahmasyah Sibarani, Poniman (Muhammadiyah figure), and Almerah Plaza Travel Umrah. The prizes, which totaled more than 200 packages, were donations from UMSU partners.
On the occasion of the Leisure Walk, the logo of the 48th Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Conference and the logo of the 13th Musywil Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah North Sumatra were released. The release of the logo with the hot air balloon was part of the special prizes prepared by the walking committee.
Members of PW Muhammadiyah North Sumatra, several Muhammadiyah regional administrators, and all UMSU academics and people from various regions also attended the fun walk.
