Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) and Politeknik Negeri Medan committed to signing the MoU and MoA Tri Dharma colleges. The signing was held on Wednesday (5/1) in the UMSU VIP room – Jl. kapten Muchtar Basri No.3.
Attended by the Rector of UMSU Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP and their staff, Director of Polmed Abdul Rahman Dalimunthe, SEAK., M.Si, and their staff, Dean of the UMSU Faculty of Engineering Munawar Alfansyuri, ST, MT, and their ranks.
UMSU Rector welcomes collaboration activity to improve the quality of research and lecturer performance, “Welcome, Mr. President Director, I am very proud and thank you and grateful for the presence of a group from the Politeknik Negeri Medan to be able to visit UMSU. This cannot be separated from friendship and collaboration,” said Agussani. He hopes that with the collaboration, UMSU and Polmed can learn from each other and complement each other in advancing education in North Sumatra.
The Director of Polmed Abdul Rahman Dalimunthe, SEAK., M.Si, said, “It is not wrong if we chose UMSU to collaborate, because institutionally it has been accredited A. There are many things that we can collaborate on,” he said. The Director of Polmed hopes it will not only cooperate between agencies but also establish cooperation between students and lecturers.
In his report, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Munawar Alfansyuri, ST, MT, said that this collaboration began with collaboration related to research between UMSU’s lecturers and Polmed’s lecturers and Malaysian staff which will soon be published.
The collaboration commitment between UMSU and Polmed was officially established after the signing of the MoU text by the Chancellor of UMSU and the Director of Polmed, followed by the signing of 4 MoAs by the Faculty of Engineering UMSU and the Faculty of Engineering Polmed.
