Leaders of the Commissariat of the Muhammadiyah Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra (PK IMM FEB UMSU) held a Ramadhan Da’wah Package at SMK N I Tebing Tinggi.
Chairman of PK IMM FEB UMSU, Muhammad Rais Prayogo revealed this year’s Ramadhan Dakwah Package activities have the theme “Ramadan Festival Full of Blessings with IMM by Increasing Faithfulness and Hospitality”.
“This activity was carried out from March 31 to April 2, 2023,” said Rais, Tuesday (3/4) in Medan.
He explained the Ramadhan Da’wah Package activities received full support from the Chancellor of UMSU, Prof.Dr. Agussani, MAP. In the meeting the day before the activity, the Chancellor conveyed a message so that the cadres of the Muhammadiyah Student Association, especially the IMM FEB Commissariat, could take care of themselves, and maintain the good name of IMM and UMSU.
“IMM as a cadre carries the name of UMSU as well as the organization, for this, it is hoped that it can maintain a good name in the community in the area, especially in the City of Tebing Tinggi,” he said.
The activity, which was carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi was attended by approximately 60 participants. The move was not only attended by students at the school but also by the surrounding community
“The PDR IMM FEB team continues to disseminate activities to the community around Tebing Tinggi 1 State Vocational School,” he said.
The activities carried out were the lightning Islamic boarding school for students of SMK Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi, high school level competitions, children’s competitions, distribution of necessities, and also the highlight of the Ramadhan Dakwah Package activity, namely Tabligh Akbar, which was delivered live by Ustadz Said Ahmad Sarhan Lubis, M.H.I.
This event was also attended by the Acting Representative. Mayor of Tebing Tinggi (Head of Community Welfare Section of Tebing Tinggi City), namely Aidil, S.E., M.Sc, Head of the Rambutan Police, Head of Student Affairs and Alumni Bureau, namely Dr. Radiman, S.E., M.Si, Deputy Dean III of FEB UMSU, Dr. Hasrudy Tanjung, S.E., M.Si, Deputy Dean I of FEB UMSU, Dr. Ade Gunawan, S.E., M.Sc, Associate Lecturer namely Willy Yusnandar, S.E., M.Sc, and Chair of the IMM FEB UMSU Alumni Association namely Ikhvan Fuady, S.E., M.Sc.
“It is also an honor for the cadres of IMM FEB UMSU because the event was attended directly by officials who are also Senior Alumni from PK IMM FEB UMSU. The event was also attended by the local village administration,” said Rais.
