UMSU is the only PTS that won a gold medal in Indonesia. UMSU is ranked as the number 1 PTS in Indonesia at PIMNAS 35. And the 14th national PTN / PTS ranking in Indonesia
According to the Rector, the gold equivalent award that UMSU students won was a matter of pride. Especially in the Pimnas event, one of the prestigious events participated by public and private universities throughout Indonesia.
He further said the achievement at the 35th Pimnas event at UMM was a separate history for UMSU because winning an award takes work. Therefore, students who can be selected for the Pimnas must indeed have innovative scientific work to compete in the best campuses in Indonesia and attend it.
However, the Rector reminded us that all students who have successfully participated in the Pimnas event do not feel complacent. “Hopefully, the achievements can motivate and encourage other students to develop their abilities and creativity actively,” he said.
Previously, Vice Rector III, Dr. Rudianto, Si, said that it was a matter of pride for students who could qualify to participate in Pimnas because it was a scientific event with its own prestige. Students participating in Pimnas must have genuinely innovative scientific work to compete with the best works from campuses throughout Indonesia.
