Jamiah Islam Sheikh Daud al Fathoni (JISDA) Thailand paid a visit to the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara in the context of friendship and exploring cooperation.
The Rector of UMSU was represented by Deputy Rector 2, Prof.Dr. Akrim, MPd, revealed that UMSU was very appreciative of the direct friendly visit of the JISDA leadership, one of the private Islamic universities in Thailand. “We are very heartened to receive JISDA’s visit. Hopefully, it can pave the way for future collaboration,” said Vice Rector II UMSU, Prof. . Dr. Akrim, MPd, when welcoming the JISDA Rector and his entourage Thursday (13/10). Also present were the leaders and lecturers of the Faculty of Islamic Religion UMSU. Also present was the Rector of JISDA Assoc. Prof. H. Abdul Rasyid Bin Abdullah, accompanied by Dr. H Kosim Bin Usman as Deputy Chancellor for Foreign Affairs and Ustadz H Asy’aree Bin Mahmud, LC.
On this occasion, the Rector of Jisda expressed his joy at receiving a warm welcome. He hopes his party can establish cooperation, including in the field of student affairs, through a credit transfer or student mobility program.
