North Sumatra Muhammadiyah General Hospital received the assistance of a Suzuki APV Ambulance unit from the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH-RI) through the Amil Zakat Infaq and Sadaqah Muhammadiyah (Lazismu) Institutions. The handover was done in person Friday (25/2) at UMSU Studio – Jl. Muchtar Basri, No. 3 Medan City.
The handover session was carried out by the Chairman of BPKH and the Chairman of Lazismu, “This is part of our endeavor to realize one of the goals of BPKH, which is to provide benefits for the benefit of the people. Therefore, on behalf of the BPKH leadership, with God’s blessing, we handed over 3 ambulance units to the beneficiaries,” said the Head of BPKH, Dr. Rahmat Hidayat, SE, MT started the Ambulance handover session.
The Ambulance handover is a tangible form of the 2021 benefit program run by BPKH RI and handed over through Lazismu North Sumatra. The handover was carried out symbolically by the Head of BPKH and Lazismu to the beneficiaries, namely the North Sumatra Muhammadiyah General Hospital represented by Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, the Indonesian Santri Berbuat Foundation represented by Ahmad Tohir, and the Cahaya Matahari Bangsa Foundation designated by Hamzah.
The handover procession was also witnessed by the Rector of UMSU, Prof. Dr. Agussani, M.AP, Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, H. Nasril Bahar, SE, Chairman of the BPKH Dr. Rahmat Hidayat, SE, MT, Chairman of the Central Lazismu Agency Mahli Zainuddin, M.SE, Secretary of North Sumatra PWM Irwan Syahputra, MA, Chairman of North Sumatra Lazizmu M. Basir Hasibuan, M.Pd, Director of North Sumatra Muhammadiyah General Hospital, dr. Muhammad Reza and the beneficiaries.
Receiving benefits in the form of an ambulance, UMSU Rector, Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, who is also the administrator of North Sumatra Muhammadiyah General Hospital, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all parties who tried to implement the benefits program.
“We express our deepest gratitude to the DPR-RI Nasril Bahar, who has done much for social institutions. Thanks also to BPKH and Lazismu. Today we received an ambulance. Of course, this will strengthen the ranks of the hospital. I represent North Sumatra Muhammadiyah General Hospital. I hope that what we receive is beneficial for the hospital and the people of Medan in general,” said the UMSU Rector.
Also, the DPR RI H. Nasril Bahar, SE, “I, as a member of the DPR-RI, hope that this program can be used as well as possible,” he said in his opening remarks. North Sumatra PWM Secretary Irwan Syahputra, MA, also expressed his appreciation for the Ambulance’s delivery for the people’s benefit. He said Muhammadiyah was ready to cooperate with BPKH and Lazismu to carry out additional programs.
