The Law Study Program of the Doctoral Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) succeeded in producing the first three graduates through the Doctoral Promotion Open Session, which was held at the UMSU Postgraduate Campus Hall, Jl Denai 217 Medan, Monday (3/6).
The three promovendus who underwent the Doctoral Promotion Open Session were Agustina, Rahmat Ramadhani and M. Arief Kurniawan.
UMSUProf. Rector Dr. Agussani. MAP acted as Chairperson of the Session and Chairperson of the UMSU Doctor of Law Study Program as well as WR I UMSU Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arifin, S.H., MHum acted as session secretary. Also present were the Director of the UMSU postgraduate program, Prof. Dr. H Triono Eddy, S.H, M.Hum, and the Secretary of the UMSU Doctor of Law Program, Prof. Dr. Ida Hanifah SH MH.
Appearing as the first promoted, Agustina in front of the Promoter: Prof. Dr. H Triono Eddy SH MHum, Co-Promoter: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adi Mansar SH MHum and the Examiners Team: Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arifin SH MHum, Prof. Dr. Tarmizi, S.H, M.Hum, and Prof. Dr. Ida Hanifah SH MH successfully defended her dissertation entitled “Reconstruction of Corruption Criminal Liability Sanctions in Construction Services Work”.
In this Doctoral Promotion Open Session, Agustina received a “Commendable” score and successfully recorded herself as an alumnus and the first graduate of the UMSU Doctor of Law Study Program.
Furthermore, as the second promo ends, Rahmat Ramadhani very convincingly successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Structuring Access to Capital Post-Redistribution of Land in North Sumatra: Urgency, Regulation and Institutionalization” in front of the Promoter: Prof. Dr. Ida Hanifah SH MH, Co-Promoter: Assoc Prof Dr Farid wadi SH MHum, and the Examiners Team: Prof Dr Muhammad Arifin SH MHum, Assoc Prof Dr Zainuddin SH MH and Prof Dr Marzuki Lubis SH MHum.
In the open session of this Doctoral Promotion, Ramadhani, who is a Lecturer at FH UMSU and Secretary of the Law and Human Rights Assembly of PW Muhammadiyah Sumut, received a “Commendable” score and recorded himself as an alumni or second graduate of the UMSU Doctor of Law Study Program.
Then appearing as the third promo ends, M. Arief Kurniawan also successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Conception of Compensation for Child Victims in the Crime of Trafficking in Persons Based on the Value of Justice” in front of the Promoter: Prof. Dr. H Triono Eddy SH MHum, Co-Promoter: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adi Mansar SH MHum, and the examiners: Prof Dr. Muhammad Arifin SH, Prof Dr. Kusbianto SH MHum, and Assoc Prof Dr. Farid wadi SH MHum.
Arif Kurniawan, who works as a Judge at the Kabanjahe District Court in this Doctoral Promotion Open Session, received a “Commendable” score and recorded himself as an alumnus and third graduate of the UMSU Doctor of Law Study Program.
