Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) released 553 students from 26 campuses in Indonesia to take part in the Entrepreneurial Practical Program Batch 3. The release took place on Saturday (19/10) at the UMSU Campus Court, Jalan Mukhtar Basri No.3, Medan, and was opened by the Chairperson of the Indonesian Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation Studies (PUSKIIBI), Assoc. Prof. Dr, Dewi Andriany, S.E., M.M.
Entrepreneur Practical is part of the Wirausaha Merdeka (WMK) program, which is designed to hone students’ entrepreneurial skills through practical activities in the field. The program aims to give students hands-on experience in developing business and entrepreneurial skills.
In her speech, PUSKIIBI Chairperson Dewi Andriany directed the students and the Field Assistance Lecturers (DPL), who will accompany them during the program.
‘The Ministry has scheduled this activity and has now entered the Immersion stage, which is going directly to the field. He explained that this stage determines students’ success in undergoing entrepreneurial internships later.
This program is one strategic step for students to understand more about the business world and improve their competence as prospective young entrepreneurs who can innovate in the era of globalization.
