The Islamic and Muhammadiyah Agency (BIM-UMSU) held an international seminar which 165 participants from four countries attended. The conference lasted for two days (29-30/6) and was officially opened by Deputy Chancellor I of UMSU Muhammad Arifin Wednesday (29/6) at the FKIP Hall, Jalan Muhtar Basri Medan.
This international seminar organized by BIM UMSU presented ten scholars from several countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Australia). The international symposium with the theme “The Practice of Islam After Covid-19” was packaged in the Tadarus Conference of International Islamic Civilization program, presenting a keynote speaker, Chairman of BIM-UMSU Dr. Nurrahmah Amini MAg with the title: Islam, Religion, Progressive Civilization.
For two days, ten speakers were performed, including Drs Muhammad Yunus Daulay MA, Rasta Kurniawati Pinem MA, Robie Fanreza Mpd.I, Dr. Ali Imran Sinaga MAg, Dr. Muzakkir MA, Dr. Antoni MHI, Erna Handayani MM, Dr. Mohammad Noor bin Husen (Malaysia), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zain Musa (Cambodia) and Dr. Haidir Fitra Siagian (Australia). This international seminar was moderated by Mustafa Kamal bin Amat Misra (KUIS -Selangor Malaysia).
