The month of Ramadan 1445 H gave its impression to the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara because of various achievements that were achieved.
“Alhamdulillah, UMSU has achieved various achievements in this year’s Ramadan, which is full of blessings,” said UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, on various occasions while attending the breakfasting, which was held in the ranks of UMSU faculties at Muchtar Basri Campus No. 3 Medan.
The achievements obtained start with the Superior campus accreditation, which is extended until 2029. The PGSD study program achieved superior accreditation, so UMSU has 16 superior study programs, and the newly established Doctor of Law Science program has achieved’ Excellent’ accreditation since 2021.
Prof. Agussani expressed his gratitude for the achievements made. According to him, UMSU’s achievements cannot be separated from good governance and shared enthusiasm. “The target, according to the roadmap, is that UMSU in 2024 will have at least 20 superior accredited study programs,” said the Rector of UMSU.
In addition, Prof. Agussani reminded that the Faculty of Law, Computer Science and Information Technology (FIKTI) and Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) could immediately open international classes to answer the PTMA internationalization program.
“For this reason, cooperation with foreign countries needs to be increased, as this will be part of the future’s strength,” said Prof. Agussani.
He also reminded faculties to maintain togetherness because UMSU’s achievements cannot be separated from good cooperation between faculties. “We hope that in 2024 we will still get 5326 new students,” he said.
On this occasion, the UMSU Rector attended two fast-breaking activities: the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Engineering. He always tries to participate in every activity held by the faculty at UMSU. This is to maintain friendship and togetherness between university leaders and faculties.
