Faculty of Islamic Religion Lecturers, University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (FAI UMSU) conducted community service while exploring cooperation with University Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah (Unishams) Malaysia. The visit took place on Monday (4/3) in Kedah, Malaysia.
This activity is one of the efforts of the Faculty of Islamic Religion UMSU to strengthen international cooperation and improve the quality of education and research. Through this program, UMSU lecturers can exchange knowledge and experience with academics and practitioners in banking and finance at Unishams, one of the leading institutions in Malaysia in this field.
Unishams warmly welcomed the UMSU lecturers, who became delegates, as the host. Various discussion sessions and seminars were held to discuss the potential for cooperation, including developing innovative curricula and learning materials relevant to current industry challenges.
It is hoped that this visit can expand opportunities for FAI UMSU students and lecturers to engage in joint research projects, student exchange programs, and community service activities that positively impact the development of Islamic finance in both countries.
