The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FIKTI) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) and the Vocational School of Universitas Pakuan Bogor agreed to establish a collaboration by signing a memorandum of understanding on Thursday (30/1) at the FIKTI UMSU Building, 7th Floor, Jalan Muchtar Basri No.3 Medan.
The cooperation undertaken includes the fields of education, research, publication, internships, and other collaborations, as an effort to improve the quality of education in both institutions.
In his speech, the Dean of FIKTI, Dr. Al-Khowarizmi, M.Kom, expressed appreciation for this visit and hoped that the cooperation established would bring benefits to both parties.
Meanwhile, the official representing the Dean of the Vocational School of Pakuan University Bogor expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and enthusiasm of FIKTI UMSU.
After the signing, the meeting continued with an intensive two-hour discussion on the implementation plan for the cooperation. Both parties agreed to promptly follow up on this collaboration through coordination between study programs. In addition, this meeting also serves as a platform for sharing experiences and best practices in higher education management.
This benchmarking visit is part of the efforts of both institutions to improve the quality of education and the relevance of the curriculum to industry needs. FIKTI UMSU and the Vocational School of Pakuan University Bogor share a common vision in preparing competent graduates ready to compete in the digital era.
With the signing of this cooperation agreement, it is hoped that a strong synergy will be created between FIKTI UMSU and the Vocational School of Pakuan University Bogor. Both parties are committed to continuing mutually beneficial collaboration for the advancement of higher education in Indonesia.
