The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (FISIP UMSU) successfully held the 2022 International Conference titled International Conference on Communication, Policy and Social Science (INCCLUSI), which took place online, Tuesday (22/2).
The seminar was opened by the Rector of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, represented by Vice Rector III, Dr. Rudianto, S.Sos, M.Si, explained the title of the paper Indonesian Millennials and Gen Z in the SDGs Campaign. He said,
“The university leadership is very supportive of activities like this. In addition to the institution’s existence, this seminar is also a contribution of thoughts related to the latest developments”.
The Dean of FISIP UMSU, Dr. Arifin Saleh, MSP, when delivering his opening remarks, “In addition to supporting the tri dharma of higher education, this international conference is also part of the activities in a series of celebrating the 50th Anniversary of FISIP UMSU, commemorated every February.”
This activity is part of the internationalization of FISIP UMSU, which manages three study programs: Social Welfare Accreditation A, Public Administration Science Accredited A, and Communication Studies Accredited Superior. In his report, Chairman of the Committee Sahran Saputra conveyed the theme of this conference: “Collaboration of Government, Civil Society and Digital Communication for Sustainable Development Goals.”
Apart from Dr. Rudianto from Indonesia, also attends Prof. Olle Törnquist from the University of Oslo, Norway, Dr. J Nicolaas Warouw from the University of New South Wales Canberra, Australia, Dr. Noppawan Phuengpha, MPA from Burapha University, Thailand, and Dr. Azhar Ibrahim Alwee from the National University of Singapore, Singapore.
