The Rector of the University Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), Prof. Dr. Agussani M.AP, releases students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. They passed the Indonesian International Student Mobility Award (IISMA) Program to Croatia.
The release ceremony was marked by giving award dues to Andika Zulham Wahyudi, who was accompanied by his parents at the UMSU Main Campus Saturday (17/9). Also present were Vice Rector I, Prof.Dr. Muhammad Arifin Gultom, SH, M Hum, Vice Rector II, Prof. Dr. Akrim, MPd, and the Dean of FKIP UMSU.
UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani admitted that he was proud and grateful to release the best students from FKIP UMSU who passed the selection in the IISMA program to Croatia.
Andika Zulham Wahyudi, a UMSU English Education study program student, was declared to have passed the IISMA program after several stringent selection stages.
UMSU’s participation in the IISMA Program is a commitment to the success of the Government Program. Previously in 2021, UMSU sent Shofia Rahmah Harahap, a student of the Faculty of Medicine, to Ireland. “This is the best result and is an example for other UMSU students that they are not inferior in competing with the best PTN/PTS students in the country,” said the Rector.
The Rector also appreciated the assistance carried out by the UMSU International Affairs Office (LKUI) in all processes, from the initial selection to processing documents for departure.
