SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru conducted a study tour of UMSU to strengthen friendships and introduce UMSU to 210 students.
The visit was conducted on Thursday (14/12) at the UMSU Auditorium on Muchtar Basri Street no.3 Medan.
Principal of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru Hj. Elmi Gurita, M.Pd, thanked UMSU for welcoming them.
“Thank you for the welcome; we are very honored by UMSU’s acceptance, especially after seeing the profile video; it is a strength for us to release our children to study at UMSU,” said the Principal.
He said the study tour activities had been planned and carried out so that students of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru could choose the right university to support their interests and talents.
“Alhamdulillah, as Mr. Vice Rector said earlier, the best place is at UMSU,” continued the Principal.
The Principal of SMAN 15, Pekanbaru, also said that his school was quite accomplished in the field of talent and art, so UMSU could develop the expertise of its students.
Previously, WR I UMSU Prof. Dr. Arifin Gultom, M.Hum has introduced UMSU as an excellent accredited campus in Sumatra and has even received 4-star recognition from QS Stars, MQA Malaysia and, most recently, Appliedhe Singapore.
“Hopefully, later, you and all of you can take a tour of UMSU facilities,” said WR I.
WR I also introduced each Faculty Leader at UMSU.
Also present were WR II UMSU Prof. Dr. Akrim, M.Pd, Faculty Leaders throughout UMSU, and 20 lecturers accompanying SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru.
