The three best university rectors in North Sumatra, namely USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, M.Si, UNIMED Rector Prof. Dr. Baharuddin, M.Pd, and UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, M.AP, met in the 2023 Diktiristek Award activity in Jakarta, Wednesday (13/12) with all universities in Indonesia.
USU, UNIMED, and UMSU won many awards from Diktiristek in various categories, only the three universities in North Sumatra won many awards from Diktiristek Kemendikbudristek RI.
On the sidelines of the meeting and awarding the Diktiristek Award to all universities in Indonesia. The USU Rector, UNIMED Rector, and UMSU Rector sat side by side, discussing many things related to efforts to collaborate in advancing superior human resources for North Sumatra. Advancing and prospering the community.
The three rectors are committed to continuing to collaborate to advance the campus to become the best campus in Indonesia and plan various breakthroughs to contribute significantly to promoting education and human resources in the province of North Sumatra. The best universities in North Sumatra are USU, UNIMED, and UMSU.
UNIMED Rector Prof. Dr. Baharuddin said he would increase collaboration with various parties, especially with USU and UMSU as superior campuses in North Sumatra. There is a better time for competition, but we must increase cooperation in multiple ways to move forward together to achieve future hopes. He was especially responding to the hopes of the people of North Sumatra so that this province could become an advanced region and increasingly make the community comfortable and happy.
“Indeed, we at UNIMED are committed and ready to join in various work programs so that the presence of the three best campuses in North Sumatra is beneficial for the benefit of the community. The community awaits our college presence to provide the best solution to all societal problems, “said the Rector of UNIMED.
He also believes that if all universities in North Sumatra can collaborate and commit highly, there will be significant changes in advancing North Sumatra to become a developed region and a model for other areas. Moreover, North Sumatra has extraordinary natural and human resources; if there is no good cooperation and collaboration, the area will not progress.
USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin also said the same thing, “I think as the best campus in North Sumatra, we must join hands and help each other, both in advancing the campus, providing assistance for all universities and collaborating with all elements in the government, the industrial world, the business world, and the entire community. I am sure that North Sumatra will become an industrialized area that is advanced and superior in many ways,” said the USU Rector.
Meanwhile, UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, is grateful for the support and collaboration with USU and Unimed. There are many positive sides and progress felt by UMSU through the cooperation and help of USU and Unimed, both in terms of institutions and human resource development.
He hopes that the collaboration between USU, Unimed, and UMSU can be further enhanced and contribute positively to the progress and development of institutions and benefit the development and progress of the people of North Sumatra nationally.
