UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, M.AP, delivers an executive structure decree of the Faculty of Medicine for the 2021-2025 period held in the Faculty of Medicine Auditorium –Jl Gedung Arca No.53 Teladan – Medan, Saturday (29/1).
The event was attended by the UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, M.AP, accompanied by Vice-Rectors, the Rector Expert Staffs Dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked (PA)., SP.PA and Dr. Wahyudi Karim, the Dean of Faculty of Medicine Dr. Siti Masliana Siregar, Sp. THT-KL(K) and the Deputies, leaders of study programs, and all academic society members. Based on the Rector’s Decree No. 390/KEP/II.3-AU/UMSU/D/2022, each section has a structure starting from the Faculty’s leadership, medical study program, medical profession study program, administration, and laboratorians.
UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, said, “This structure is an additional task because it has been set into the organizational structure and continues to leave the primary assignment as an educator, researcher, and service provider. “said Prof. Agussani. On that occasion, he also told the history of the establishment of the Faculty of
Medicine. Starting from the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the late Dr. dr. H. Rosihan Anwar, MS, SpMK in 2008-2009, followed by dr. Ade Taufiq, Sp. OG in 2009 – 2017, then Prof. Dr. H. Gusbakti Rusip, M.Sc., PKK, AIFM in 2017 – 2021. Now Faculty of Medicine is led by Dr. Siti Masliana Siregar, Sp. ENT-KL(K) for 2021 – 2025.
Prof. Agussani said, “Alhamdulillah, the Faculty of Medicine has existed for 13 years thanks to the commitment of Muhammadiyah and the University. The educational progress at the Faculty of Medicine is running as expected. At the time of A Accreditation, at that time we were the only Faculty of Medicine ranked A Accreditation of 12 Faculties of Medicine in Muhammadiyah Colleges in Indonesia,”
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Siti Masliana Siregar, Sp. THT-KL(K) reminds lecturers who join the organizational structure not to disregard the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and scientific development. These functions and responsibilities involve several future achievements of the Faculty of Medicine. “Leaders of faculties and departments will not be able to move without a structure within the organization. It must be moved in harmony and together,” he said.
The rector decree on the organizational structure for the 2O2l-2O25 term of office was symbolically delivered by the UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, M.AP, accompanied by dr. Siti Masliana Siregar, Sp.THT-KL{K) to the ten appointed management representatives, as follows:
