Muhammadiyah 8 Kisaran High School made a friendly visit and study tour to the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara Campus on Jalan Kapten Mukhtar Basri, Medan, Saturday (21/1).
A total of 82 students accompanied by the principal and teachers were received directly by the Rector represented by Deputy Rector III, Dr. Rudianto, MSc. “Welcome to the UMSU campus. We are happy to receive a friendly visit from Muhammadiyah 8 Kisaran High School,” he said, opening his remarks.
Rudianto then explained UMSU’s various achievements at the national and international levels. For example, UMSU is a superior accredited campus and has received a 4-star rating from the international rating agency QS Stars and is recognized by the Malaysian accreditation agency, MQA.
Suprayogi, SE, Principal of the Muhammadiyah 8 Kisaran High School, admitted that he was proud of the progress and development of UMSU with various national and international achievements.
UMSU currently has a large campus and is the number one private university on the island of Sumatra. Therefore, various achievements can be a reference for students to continue their education.
“82 students who attended the friendship and are expected to register as UMSU students,” he said.
As the school’s principal, he believes that UMSU’s various achievements can inspire students to continue their education. So far, exceptionally several Muhammadiyah 8 students have continued their studies at UMSU, and as a person, he also claims to be alumni of UMSU.
“Hopefully, UMSU will be the choice of students to continue their education,” he said
