Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) and Institut Kesehatan Medistra (IKM) Lubuk Pakam signed a memorandum of understanding Monday (6/2) in the UMSU meeting room on Jalan Muchtar Basri No.3 Medan.
This cooperation is related to the tri dharma of higher education, especially the assistance of lecturers as teaching staff Rector of IKM Ns. Rahmad Gurusinga, S.Kep said this collaboration was also in IKM’s interest in establishing a Faculty of Medicine.
“Collaborating with UMSU is one of the most important requirements, especially Biomedical HR, which is very steep. Alhamdulillah, we are proud to collaborate with UMSU, which has Biomedical Human Resources,” said Rahmad.
Welcoming this collaboration, UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP hopes to collaborate and build Indonesian education, especially in the health sector.
“Hopefully, this collaboration can become capital and support IKM to get opportunities and permission to open a medical faculty, we support and good luck,” said Agussani.
Also present in this activity were the Vice Rector of UMSU, the Dean of FK UMSU, the Head of the Bureau and the International Affairs Cooperation Institute, and the ranks of IKM Lubuk Pakam.
