UMSU was appointed as the host for the preparation for the departure of 9 IISMA Croatian Region awardees which was held virtually, attended by participants from UGM, UNSYIAH, UNAIR, UNAND, UNDIP, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November, Universitas Mulawarman, and Negeri Malang.
The event, held on Tuesday night (5/9), was opened by the Rector of UMSU, represented by Vice Rector III, Dr. Rudianto, MSI. “We encourage our students, as well as all students who participate in this program to always optimally prepare themselves so that later when they join this program for one semester in Croatia, everything will run smoothly,” said Vice Rector III UMSU Dr. Rudianto, M.Si.
Present at this event is the head of the IISMA program, Dr. Rachmat Sriwijaya, MT, D.Eng, chairman of OIC UMSU Rafieqah Nalar Rizky, MA, Implementing the Social and Cultural Affairs function of the Indonesian Embassy in Zagreb Derian Antonio Daniswara, IISMA awardees for the Croatian region and KUI representatives from various universities.
This IISMA Pre-Departure Briefing is one of a series of implementations of the 2022 Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) Program. It aims to guide awardees to become good Indonesian citizens and learn the culture and other information that must be understood before undergoing lectures during one semester at the University of Zagreb, Croatia.
