Prof. Dr. Rudianto M.Si released 6 Muhammadiyah University students in North Sumatra to participate in international credit transfer activities at the Malaysian University of Perlis (UniMAP). (29/11)

Kom, Secretary of the communication science study program Faizal Hamzah Lubis, S.sos, M.I.Kom, Chair of OIC UMSU Rafieqah Nalar Rizky, S.Sos., MA, Secretary of OIC Muhammad Shareza Hafiz, M.Acc.
The six students are 5th-semester students of the Communication Science Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara on behalf of Rizki Ramadan, Rizka Muhammad Al Fathan, Rahel Farhanah Azzahra, Lisa Ayuniar.

Students will participate in ICT activities for one semester in the New Media Communication Study Program, Faculty of Applied and Human Sciences (FSGM), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), starting from December 4, 2022.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rudianto, in his remarks, expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the six UMSU students. ICT Activities This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn and gain experience while studying at UniMAP. As we know, UniMAP is one of the best tertiary institutions in Malaysia and is closer to and tends to technology (Applied Science) in its educational methods.
He believes that UMSU students will be able to adapt well to the academic culture that exists at UniMAP. This ICT activity is an opportunity that should not be wasted because while participating in the program there, students will meet students and lecturers who have high credibility and quality in the field of education in exchanging information, experience, and knowledge which will become provisions for students later.
He hopes that while participating in the program, the students will continue to behave well and maintain the ethics and good name of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara.
Dean of FISIP UMSU, Dr. Arifin, expressed his pride to the students. He hoped that these students would later become role models for other students. Convey enthusiasm for students in participating in international programs. To add to the scientific treasures of students.
Aisyah Putri Nabila, as the student representative in her presentation, said she was very grateful to be able to participate in this unique program. He said this activity provided an opportunity and valuable experience in the academic field. He also added that students had attended online lectures before attending in-person lectures.
According to him, there is a slight difference in learning methods between the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara and the University of Malaysia Perlis, where UniMAP applies more applicative learning methods while UMSU itself is more concerned with scientific concept methods. However, this is not a significant obstacle for us, he said.
