UMSU released 296 students across faculties who passed the MBKM Campus Teaching (KM) Batch 7 program. It was released directly by the UMSU Rector, Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, represented by WR III Dr. Rudianto, M.Si online, Tuesday (13/2).
The campus Teaching (KM) MBKM program is of concern and interest to UMSU students. In this 7th batch, the interest and number of students were very high, with two assistant lecturers passing.
PIC Teaching Campus and Vice Dean 3 FKIP, Dr. Hj. Dewi Kesuma Nst., M.Hum, said the KM batch 7 program will be held on February 16 in the odd semester. All participants will be inspired for 6 months in several elementary, junior high, and vocational schools.
“The Kampus Menjagar program aims to increase technological adaptation to a cultured literacy and numeracy environment. So, don’t be impressed by teaching but provide new information in designing and designing learning,” said Dr. Dewi.
WR III Dr. Rudianto, in his speech, equipped and motivated the KM participants, whom he called outstanding students.
“Our students should not worry about constraints so that they can focus on this KM program. Friends do not take the role of teachers but become motivators and activists who can move students,” said Rudianto.
He hopes that the presence of students can bring a new spirit to their teaching environment. They do not bring problems but can inspire students and teachers.
On this occasion, Anjeli Wulandari from the Faculty of Law, representing KM Batch 7 participants, expressed her gratitude because UMSU facilitates MBKM programs.
“Alhamdulillah, I was placed in one of the elementary schools in Batam. There, the literacy level is still low and needs to be taught technology, but the human resources are still lacking. Departing from that background, I participated in this KM, per my motivation to impact society and bridge it by providing technological knowledge,” said Anjeli.
The students who passed consisted of 219 FKIP students: 34 (FAI), 20 (FISIP), 15 (FEB), 4 (FIKTI), 3 (AGR), 1 (FAHUM), and 1 (TEKNIK).
