5363 New Students Will Attend PKKMB UMSU
5363 new students will participate in the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students and the 2023 IMM UMSU Taaruf Period starting Monday (25/9).
“God willing, PKKMB and Masta UMSU which were held at the Jalan Kapten Mukhtar Basri Campus, Medan, were attended by all 5363 UMSU new students,” said Vice Rector III, Dr. Rudianto, MSi, who was also the chairman of the organizing committee to reporters, Sunday (24/9) during preparations for the opening of the event which was centered on the campus parking lot.
He explained that PKKMB and Masta UMSU will be from Monday (25/9) to Friday (29/9). Unlike the previous year, on Saturday (30/9), together with RCTI, we will hold RCTI Invasion, which presents Indonesia’s top band groups.
The event entitled RCTI Invasion, a little leak, which presents Indonesia’s top band groups is also enlivened by the performance of several student activity units, including the UMSU Band, dance, and theater.
PKKMB UMSU is planned to be opened by the North Sumatra Police Chief, North Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General Agung Setya I.E., SH., SIK., M.Si. We hope that the presence of the North Sumatra Police Chief, then opening PKKMB, will also motivate new UMSU students to participate in education and achieve a better future successfully.
On that occasion, as Chairman of the Committee, Rudi appealed to UMSU new students who participated in PKKMB and Masta to maintain discipline by arriving on time and wearing attributes such as alma mater and faculty marks. PKMB participants are also expected not to use private vehicles or be escorted by parents.
“I also hope that all new UMSU students can follow the entire PKMB and Masta series in an orderly manner. There is a lot of important information that new students need to understand so that they can follow lectures well and that they are successful in education, “he explained.
Meanwhile, related to the postgraduate, Vice Rector III explained that PKKMB will be held separately. The concept of implementation will also be different from the PKKMB undergraduate program.
UMSU Postgraduate has 11 master’s study programs and one doctor of law program. The master’s programs are master of management, accounting, law, notarial, communication, and higher education management. Furthermore, I have a master’s degree in mathematics, Islamic education, agricultural science, electricity, and bio-medical master.
