Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) presented a creative performance of farewell and welcome Free Student Exchange (PMM) inbound and outbound UMSU, Friday (27/1) at the UMSU Auditorium, Jalan Muchtar Basri No. 3 Medan.
In supporting the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program, UMSU is one of the universities open and enthusiastic about welcoming the Free Student Exchange (PMM) program.
The activities carried out for one semester have ended. As many as 62 students from various regions and universities will return to their places of origin, and 182 UMSU students in various regions have returned.
“I am touched because today’s academic atmosphere is filled with creativity. To my children who will leave UMSU in PMM learning, thank you for the presence of all of you at UMSU,” Agussani said after watching the PMM student collaboration ethnic dance.
The head of LLDIKTI Region I, Drs. Saiful Anwar said that PMM UMSU’s farewells were lively and creative. It reminded him of when he was young and when he took part in art activities.
“I believe UMSU has given the best to the 61 PMM students at UMSU. Hopefully, what is good will be brought home, do not remember what is bad,” he said.
Meanwhile, the PMM student representative, Muhammad Fauzan from Universitas Mercu Buana, West Jakarta. I am expressing gratitude for the great welcome from UMSU.
“We are Inbound students. Thank you very much to the Rector and Lecturers of UMSU who have welcomed us so well. They are facilitating us to attend lectures at UMSU and the various Nusantara modules provided. We can become aware of the diversity in the archipelago,” said Fauzan.
The welcome was filled with various art performances starting from the performance of the UMSU Band, Ethnic Dance, and Pencak Silat to the Rector of UMSU singing.
The activity was attended by the Rector of UMSU, Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP and staff, Head of LLDIKTI Region I, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., Ph.D., UMSU Faculty Leader, Chair of MBKM Murviana Koto, M.Sc, PIC PMM Dr. Hasrudy Tanjung, S.E., M.Si and film producer Nariti Burhanuddin, S.E.
