The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) held the Medan International Conference on Economic and Business (MICEB) and signed an MoU with Universitas MNC, Thursday (26/1) at the UMSU Auditorium, Jalan Muckhtar Basri No. 3 Medan.
Based on the report of the Head of MICEB, Dr. Ade Gunawan, M.Si. This international conference was attended by 161 participants, 51 people who attended in person and 110 people who attended online. This international activity was attended by 34 universities from within and outside the country and five countries, namely Indonesia, Oman, Korea, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
“Alhamdulillah, our activities this time have the full support of partners collaborating with the University of Technology Malaysia, Cagayan State University Philippines, Santo Tomas Philippines, and Universitas MNC, which broadcasts this activity live on RCTI Plus to Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh,” said Ade.
UMSU’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, represented by Deputy Rector I UMSU Prof. Dr. Arifin Gultom, M.Hum, opened the international conference by explaining the importance of this activity is carried out. Furthermore, he recounted the disrupted global economic conditions due to the Russian war, so he hoped that the international conference could provide benefits and run well.

The same remark was also conveyed by the Dean of FEB UMSU Januri, SE, MM, M.Si, “Congratulations and thank you for attending this event at the UMSU Faculty of Economics and Business for an international conference,” he welcomed.
This international conference was opened by international speakers related to the world economy, including Prof.Dr. H. ARMANU, S.E., M.Sc Professor from Brawijaya Indonesia, with the topic ‘Entrepreneurial Leadership, Innovative Work Behavior, Resilience, And Their Mediators.’ Then, Asocc. Prof. Dr. Maheran Binti Zakaria, Professor from the University of Technology Malaysia, with the topic ‘Empowerment & Gender Equality through Women Entrepreneurial Success Malaysian Evidence.’
Next, Dr. Iskandar Muda, SE, M Si, Ak, CA from the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara Indonesia, with the topic ‘The Existence of Sentbe And Paypal Digital Wallet Applications Support The Potential of Organic Agriculture of Cocoa And Arenches Around The Mount Leuser National Plant Area (TNGL).’ Until dr. Battung Giged Tong, Professor from Cagayan State University Philippines, with the topic’ Intelligent Authentication Method In Online Business Through Adoption of Electronic Personal Synthesis Behavior (EPSB).’
