OIF UMSU Receives Visit from PPMI Assalaam
The Observatory of Falactic Science of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (OIF UMSU) received a visit from the Modern Islamic Boarding School (PPMI) Assalaam, Sukaharjo, Central Java, Friday, (15/9).
The visit is a form of collaboration and ties the relationship between OIF UMSU and PPMI Assalaam. This is related to PPMI Assalaam, which also has a Falak Science Observatory.
Then, one of the leaders of PPMI Assalaam, Dr. H. Arkanuddin Budianto, M.I.Kom, said he was pleased to be able to visit OIF UMSU.
“This morning is very extraordinary, having the opportunity to visit and see the extraordinary rapid development of OIF UMSU,” said Dr. Arkanuddin.
He also hopes that OIF UMSU can continue to collaborate with PPMI Assalaam. “Hopefully, with the developments in OIF, later we can collaborate with Assalaam, further strengthening the development of phalac science in the country, as well as for Muslims,” he hoped.
The visit continued with a warm talk between the OIF team and PPMI Assalaam. The Assalaam leadership said it was very open if the UMSU OIF team wanted to visit PPMI Assalaam in Central Java.
“We will be ready to host the arrival of the OIF team,” said Dr. Arkaruddin. The visit was closed by giving souvenirs.
