Fatek UMSU Hands Over IoT-Based Coffee Roasting Machine
The Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (Fatek UMSU), implementing the Community Partnership Program (PKM), handed over an IoT-based coffee roasting machine to partners Tuesday (12/9) in Kuta Rakyat Village, Naman Teran, Kab. Karo.
The tool was handed over directly by the Head of the PKM team, Arya Rudi M.T who was accompanied by Vice Rector III FATEK UMSU, Affandi M.T to partners who are coffee business owners, namely Ihsan Ginting, the owner of Erdilo Coffee and Albar Siagian.
“We hope that the community will be more able to process their coffee products during post-harvest so that the products produced are more varied, increase the price and value of local products, and can improve the welfare of rural communities, especially Tanah Karo,” said the Head of the PKM team.
As the recipient of the tool, Ihsan expressed his gratitude for choosing Erdilo Coffee as the Fatek UMSU PKM location. He hopes that the team’s tools can be helpful for his business and, in particular. people in the Naman Teran sub-district.
