UMSU’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, reminded the academic community to remain solid and not be complacent with the achievements that have been achieved.
“No matter how many achievements are achieved, there will still be challenges, and there will always be those who are not happy to see that,” said the Rector, Prof. Agussani, during the welcoming greeting of Ramadhan 1444 H and the closing of the 51st anniversary of FISIP UMSU, Wednesday (5/4).
According to Agussani, the key to success is to keep pushing forward even after achieving a goal. What has been fulfilled now may be meaningless because there will always be changes and new challenges.

The Rector expressed gratitude to the academic community of FISIP for their successful accomplishments. The Study Programs of Communication Science and Welfare Science at FISIP UMSU have achieved superior accreditation. At the same time, Public Administration Science has been accredited with an A.
The Rector hopes that FISIP UMSU can continue building togetherness and innovation to maintain and improve achievements.
“We certainly feel proud of what FISIP UMSU has achieved. Moreover, in terms of human resources at this time, many lecturers have won doctoral degrees and two professors,” he said.
Dr. Abrar Adhani, the Deputy Dean of FISIP, spoke on behalf of the Dean, Dr. Arifin, MSP. He explained that the Ramadan friendship event marked the end of FISIP’s 51st anniversary. The event aimed to foster stronger relationships between university leaders, deans, lecturers, and staff.
