“Alhamdulillah, in IMCC Volume VII, we were allowed to collaborate with the Medan District Attorney’s Office,” said Dedi.
He further reported that IMCC Volume VII participants amounted to 12 teams, where 1 team consisted of 18 people. “So we have 216 participants who competed in conducting trial simulations to implement the formal law that has been studied in college,” said Dedi.
“So we organized this IMCC as a forum for learning formal law and procedural law for friends before later plunging into becoming a law enforcer with integrity,” he added.
Dedi hopes that implementing this activity will add insight and improve the competence of FH UMSU students. At the same time, we hope this activity will be a stepping stone towards a higher competition, namely the Regional Moot Court Competition.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Faisal SH MHum, in his speech, expressed his appreciation for the implementation of IMCC Volume VII well.
“I express my appreciation to the FH UMSU Moot Court Community organizers who have successfully prepared and designed this activity well. One of them that attracts our attention is the number of sponsors supporting this activity. Moreover, of course, this is proof that the committee ranks have a very extraordinary network to collaborate with many sponsors to make this activity a success, “he said.
Faisal also expressed his gratitude to the UMSU Rector, who always supports the Faculty of Law UMSU in organizing many activities, especially activities related to arousing reason and increasing student creativity.
Faisal also expressed his gratitude to Medan Kajari, who has been pleased to build cooperation with the Faculty of Law UMSU in implementing positive and constructive programs.
