The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, achieved a pass rate of 100 percent in the Competency Test for the Medical Profession Education Program (UKMPPD) for the February 2023 period.
Dean of the Faculty of Medicine UMSU, Dr. Siti Masliana Siregar, Sp-THT KL, said as many as 46 participants passed one test (First Taker) through the Computer Based Test (CBT).
“We wish congratulations and success to the students and participants who graduate,” he said when interviewed Monday (20/3/2023).
Dr. Siti Masliana Siregar’s achievement shows that the UMSU Faculty of Medicine has always been committed to providing excellent medical professional education. Of course, with the extraordinary support from the Rector of UMSU, Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, and university leaders.
According to Dr. Siti Masliana Siregar, passing 100 percent in one UKMPPD exam is a proud achievement this time, and the UMSU Faculty of Medicine will continue to improve the quality and process of medical professional education.
Dr. Siti Masliana Siregar explained that UKMPPD is an exit exam, and you will get a competency certificate after graduation. FK students must pass two stages of examination, the first is in the field of knowledge, and the second is in the field of clinical skills.
“Students must pass two stages of exams to get competency certificates,” he said.
UKMPPD is the only examination organized by the state for Indonesian doctor candidates to obtain their medical degree.
