The opening was attended by UMSU Rector Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, represented by WR III Dr. Rudianto, M.Si, on Tuesday (20/2) at the UMSU Campus Meeting Room, Muchtar Basri Street No.3 Medan.

WR III Dr. Rudianto welcomed the PMM students from Tanggerang to the farthest from Papua. He gave an overview of the city of Medan and UMSU as a temporary place for students to gain valuable knowledge and experience.
“Welcome to joining UMSU with its myriad of creativity; please take advantage of the creative and positive activities that friends will carry out. The students here are friendly, but do not be surprised by the language, which is harsh, “said WR III while joking.
Dr. Rudianto also advised that PMM activities should not be used as a moment to compare the advantages and disadvantages of the campus but as learning and experience during the exchange.
Then, the student representative or PMM Inbound 4 Tribal Chief, Ibni Mas’ud Wafaur Romadhon from Nahdlatul Ulama Al Ghazali University Cilacap, on this occasion, expressed his gratitude because UMSU as the destination campus was very helpful from departure to later activities.
“Apart from studying on other campuses, through this program, we can explore various cultures and make friends from various regions. Hopefully, at UMSU, we can establish mutual collaboration and benefit even though we exchange temporarily, but it can be meaningful forever, “said Ibin.
The opening was followed by embedding the UMSU alma mater to 2 PMM student representatives, namely Tegar Monika Syahputra (PGRI Semarang University) and Kiswatun Qasanah (Muhammadiyah Sorong University of Education).
